Our History
Rob Hunter and his wife, Carol Ann, started the Purofirst Franchise with his mother, Barbara Hunter, 30 years ago. Initially, Rob also ran a construction company specializing in homes and post offices. They began with just a few jobs a month in their garage, but Purofirst steadily grew, while the construction company dwindled.
After five years, Rob built a 10,000 square foot facility, which they quickly outgrew, leading to the construction of a 27,000 square foot facility eight years later. Purofirst has since become one of the largest restoration companies in Kentucky, known for its honesty, integrity, and pride in their workâqualities that continue to attract customers.
